Florian Friedrich is a Junior Portfolio Manager at Ultramarin, contributing to the development and implementation of investment strategies.
Before joining Ultramarin, Florian worked as a Junior Portfolio Manager at KZVK Köln, where he was involved in developing the strategic asset allocation. He gained his first experience in quantitative portfolio management through internships: at Quoniam Asset Management, building an ESG analytics platform, and at ODDO BHF, conducting research on factor timing.
Florian holds an M.Sc. in Mathematics from the Technical University of Darmstadt, with a focus on Deep Learning and Finance. He wrote his master's thesis in collaboration with Quoniam on portfolio optimization under ESG constraints.
